Kemba Walker Reacts to Marcus Smart Ejection and Antics

Kemba Walker was interviewed postgame after the Celtics' 115-109 loss vs the New Orleans Pelicans. Walker had a solid game but wasn’t able to finish off Boston’s comeback late in the fourth.
Walker talked about teammate Marcus Smart, who was ejected late in the fourth quarter. He backed up his teammate during the interview. Smart was ejected for yelling at the refs after not getting multiple calls throughout the game.
The veteran point guard also talked about new teammate Evan Fournier, who struggled in his Celtics debut. “It’s difficult coming to a new team and trying to play well,” said Walker. Fournier shot 0-10 on the night and finished with zero points. He was unable to join the team in Oklahoma City last game due to a false positive COVID test.
Walker talked about having fans back at TD Garden, too. This was the first time in over a year that Celtics fans were able to be at the Garden, and there were around 2,500 in attendance.
