केरल विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ने जा रहीं पहली ट्रांसजेंडर उम्मीदवार अनन्या कुमारी एलेक्स ने अब चुनाव न लड़ने का फैसला किया है. उन्होंने कहा है कि वह चुनाव से पीछे हट रही हैं. एलेक्स ने आरोप लगाया कि डेमोक्रेटिक सोशल जस्टिस पार्टी के नेताओं द्वारा उन्हें गंभीर मानसिक यातना और जान से मारने की धमकी दी गई है. ऐसे में वह चुनाव प्रचार समाप्त कर रही हैं, भले ही नामांकन पत्र वापस लेने की तारीख खत्म हो गई हो. देखें वीडियो
