Any individual who intentionally spread misinformation with regards to the Covid-19 vaccine could be charged under the anti-fake news law.
Health Minister Dr Adham Baba said individuals who are discovered to spread such misinformation will be reported to the police. They will be given a chance to take down their post, before action is taken.
He said this in a press conference after launching the Future Hospital Strategy and Development Forum 2021.
Adham added that they shouldn't share information on any cases until there is an official report from the MOH.
