DESCRIBING her look as a mix of “all the weird things I like”, Angela fully embraces her distinctive aesthetic and has a successful alternative modelling career. Her friend Brent, a makeup artist, has always dreamt of giving Angela a Barbie makeover. And today he finally gets his wish, doing Angela’s makeup and dressing her in a custom-made outfit. Transforming Angela into a Paris-Hilton inspired Barbie, what will Angela and her partner make of the new look that hides her dreads and tattoos? Although Angela knew she was getting a new look she had no idea what Brent would do to her. She said: “My style is a mix of all the things I like all at once: goth, industrial, bohemian, hippy - all the weird things I like. I think I’m uncomfortable being super over the top feminine as far as the stereotypes go. I’ve just never been drawn to the pinks and the pastels. I have no idea what Brent is cooking up for me. Hopefully there is no pink.” There wasn’t any pink but… Angela said: “The new Barbie look is not for me - I could see Brent rocking this pretty well though!
