India continues to be in the grip of coronavirus. Covid infections peaked once again with 1,31,968 infections being registered today, another single-day highest since the outbreak of the pandemic. In the last 24-hours, 780 deaths were registered. Maharashtra the worst-hit state, recorded over 56,000 fresh cases in the last 24 hours. The national capital, Delhi clocked over 7,400 fresh cases.
