Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday chaired a high-level meeting on the Covid-19 situation with 11 Chief Ministers and told them to ensure that oxygen tankers for any state are not stopped.

PM Modi said that efforts are on to increase oxygen supply, and industrial oxygen has been diverted to meet requirements for Covid patients. PM Modi urged all states to work together to meet the requirements of medicines and oxygen and check their hoarding and black marketing.

He urged the states to set up a high-level coordination committee to carry oxygen to different hospitals. This committee should ensure the immediate delivery of oxygen immediately after its allotment.
