Mayor Isko Moreno Shares What Manila Is Doing to Save Heritage Structures

Back in 2019, during Manila Mayor Isko Moreno’s first month in office, he vowed to save, preserve, and protect "things that remind us of our past for then not to be deleted in our memories." To make sure that heritage sites and ancestral houses are preserved during his term, he has one rule: "Get a certification from National Historic Institute that you are a heritage site."
