Abdul Hamid Bador bowed out as Inspector-General of Police today, handing over the reins to his successor Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani.

However, the handing-over ceremony was not witnessed by Home Minister Hamzah Zainudin, as he had to attend a meeting with Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.

On Friday, Hamid trained his guns on Hamzah.

The top cop complained about political intervention in the police force and admitted there was “bad blood” between him and the minister.
