As the Covid death toll continues to mount in India, overworked crematorium and cemetery workers at high risk of exposure to the virus continue to do their work unvaccinated and without adequate protection.

They are tired and hungry, overworked and underprotected, and yet the hardships of these crematorium and cemetery workers have largely gone unnoticed.
