: "Hope is my mobility service dog for several of my rare incurable chronic illnesses. She is the most caring dog I’ve ever met. She has taken it upon herself to become best friends with and help care for my senior guinea pig, Tweak. Tweak is such a goof and absolutely loves her. He gets excited to see her and 'Wheaks' when she comes over. Hope will even hold food in her mouth for him and feed him. She is just so gentle. It’s pretty amazing. This video is from one of Tweak’s monthly baths. Hope always gets worried about him getting cold so she snuggles him and licks him dry as if he were her puppy. Tweak recently passed away at the extremely old guinea pig age of ten years old, the day after his birthday. Hope and I miss him so so much. I can’t play guinea pig videos or say the word 'piggie' or Hope will start looking around the house for him and it breaks my heart. Hope continues to be an amazing, life changing service dog day to day and is slowly trying to befriend my pet box turtle. It’s been a slow process."
