Moon jellyfish is a great name for these animals because they've been to space. Moon jellyfish are typically translucent in color but they can take on subtle hues based off the food they eat. These jellyfish can be found through the tropical and temperate oceans of the world. They have stinging cells though these typically aren't strong enough to break through human skin (though children and the elder can be more vulnerable). The jellyfish life cycle includes an egg, larvae that settle to the ocean floor and produce clones, as well as a short lived adult stage (when compared to their earlier, sessile - none moving - stage). Moon jellyfish have those horseshoe shaped parts in their body because these are where eggs and sperm are stored!
