Cyclone Tauktae intensified into an extremely severe cyclonic storm on Monday. On Sunday, heavy rainfall and high tidal waves swept the coastal belt of Kerala, Karnataka and Goa, damaging hundreds of houses, uprooting electricity poles and trees and forcing evacuation in low-lying areas. Next day high speed winds and heavy rains lashed Mumbai and its neighbouring areas and now Tauktae headed towards Gujarat. Watch the video for more information.
