: "A local Colorado man and bystanders saved a dog stuck in a sewer grate. He heard the dog howling in the water from across the street, ran over, and with the help of other bystanders hauled it out of the water to safety. Animal Control later told him that the dog had been in the culvert for at least seven blocks and had probably fallen in chasing ducks, as it is a bird-hunting dog breed."
