The North Central Regional Health Authority is seeking to clarify where the decision to rotate high level medical staff at the Couva Hospital came from.

Initially, it was said that the rotation was based on a request from the Medical Chief of Staff.

The NCRHA maintains that, but is now attributing the actual decision to the Director of Health.
