This paper is dedicated to the power of impeachment in the Senate. Hamilton characterizes the Senate as providing stability and knowledge that cannot be swayed as easily as the house of reps or an independent council. That being said, Hamilton also rejects the supreme court on the basis of double trials. Hamilton alludes to the political antics that may be involved in impeachment as well.
