Earlier this month, Cricket West Indies announced that the upcoming 9th edition of the CPL will kickstart from August 28 while the final will take place on September 19 with a total of 33 matches scheduled to be played in the entire T20 tournament. However, post BCCI’s Special General Meeting (SGM), one of the senior officials from the board revealed that they will surely have a discussion with the other cricket boards regarding the availability of foreign players in IPL Phase 2.

अच्छी बात ये है कि IPL 2021 के बचे हुए मुकाबले फिर से खेले जाएंगे. UAE में आईपीएल का आयोजन होगा. बचे हुए मुकाबले में UAE में ही खेले जाएंगे. बुरी खबर ये है कि क्रिकेट फैन्स अपने बड़े विदेशी खिलाड़ियों को इस टूर्नामेंट में देख नहीं पाएंगे. सितम्बर और अक्टूबर वो महीना है, जहाँ सभी देश के खिलाड़ी अपने राष्ट्रीय टीम के साथ जुड़े होंगे. और मैच खेल रहे होंगे. अब IPL की वजह से कोई भी टीम अपना शेड्यूल तो खराब नहीं कर सकता. इस वजह से ECB ने पहले ही एलान कर दिया कि उनके खिलाड़ी IPL खेलने नहीं जाएंगे. आप अपना देख लीजिये. ये भी बात सही है कि मार्च अप्रैल में विदेशी खिलाड़ी इसलिए भी आईपीएल खेलने चले आते हैं. क्योंकि इस दौरान सीरिज कम ही देखली जाती है.
