PURPOSE: ‘Change Artist’ was created to inspire and motivate others to seek change within themselves and pledge to become a Change Artist. People tend to believe an external change (clothes, homes, cars, presidents, etc.) must happen to achieve peace and happiness, but change must come from within. CHANGE ART*TIST [cheynj ahr-tist]: We define Change Artist as one who is aware of how to control his/her own thoughts to create a desired reality. MISSION: Our mission is to have at least 5 million people pledge to become a Change Artist over the next 6 months. Individuals can pledge their commitment by donating to the Change Artist campaign. LOCATION: On Broadway Event Center, 615 Broadway, San Diego, CA 92101. Doors open @ 8pm. Show starts @ 8:30pm EVENT ENTERTAINMENT: The Change Artist inaugural ball will offer a variety of entertainment for the evening. We’ll be adding more talent over the next week so check back for details! HOST: The Change Artist inaugural ball will be hosted by actor and comedian, Joe Torry MUSIC: Music from R&B singer TANK, Z90 Radio DJ, DJ D Rock, DJ Matty A, and DJ Yusef. More acts TBD COMEDY: Performances by Aida Rodriguez, Brett Riley, and Tommy Davidson SPECIAL CELEBRITY GUESTS: We’ll have several celebrity guests who exemplify Change Artist and will offer words of inspiration.
