Triggering another showdown between the Centre and social media platforms, late last month, Facebook and Instagram took down a fact-check post by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), in which it had rebutted a false claim linking Covid vaccinations to death.The post was restored on both platforms following the government’s intervention. पिछले महीने 25 मई को Facebook और Instagram पर एक पोस्ट शेयर की गई थी. वायरल पोस्ट में कहा गया कि Covid Vaccine लगवाने वाले व्यक्ति की दो सालों में मौत हो सकती है. जिसके लेकर PIB ने इस खबर का Fact Check किया और इसका खंडन किया. हालांकि बाद में फेसबुक और इंस्टाग्राम ने इस पोस्ट को हटा दिया. जिसके बाद सरकार के दखल के बाद फेसबुक और इंस्टाग्राम ने अपनी गलती मानी है. देखिए वीडियो
