Two people have been sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment for gang raping a minor girl in 2017 in Keonjhar Sadar Police limits area. The Additional District Judge (ADJ) of Keonjhar sentenced the accused to 20 years of imprisonment with Rs. 50,000 penalty.

As per the verdict, if the convicts fail to pay the fine, additional penalty of Rs 5 lakh will be levied along with extension of the conviction period by one more year.
