In a first for Odisha, an Odia film has made its entry into the Oscars race. Odisha’s entry into the prestigious Academy Awards is ‘Kalira Atita,’ by National Award Winner Nila Madhab Panda. Kalira Atita is the first Odia movie of Nila Madhav Panda and it has been selected in the general category for Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Director among others.
