With the vaccination allowed for all above 18 years of age, demand for vaccination of the below 18 year age group is growing. With reports of higher rate of infection among this cohort, concerns are being raised over their safety. However, we may soon have a vaccine for this age group. Commenting on the same, Paediatrician Prabhakar Mishra of Cutack Sishu Bhawan said that the vaccines for children in the clinical trial phase and will be available soon.
