The much-awaited Netflix original anime series 'Trese' premieres today.
Set in Manila, the horror series features Detective Alexandra Trese in her quest to battle malevolent supernatural beings.
It's based on the graphic novel of writer Budjette Tan and comic book artist Kajo Baldisimo.
CNN Philippines got to speak to both of them plus Filipino-American Director Jay Oliva and Writer/Co-Executive Producer Tanya Yuson.
They told us how 'Trese' came to life, from the comic book to the animated series.
