A Tamil asylum seeker family has been reunited in Perth, ending a stint of more than two years in immigration detention on Christmas Island. The father and oldest daughter have joined the rest of the Murugappan family in Perth, where four-year-old Tharnicca is being treated for a serious blood infection.
