Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia's relations with the United States had deteriorated to their lowest point in recent years.

Putin's comments in an interview aired on US television network NBC on Monday, two days before he is to meet US President Joe Biden in Geneva and underline the tensions between the two countries.
