With a decline in daily Covid-19 cases across the state, the Tamil Nadu government has announced a few more relaxations that will be effective from today. The relaxation includes the reopening of worship facilities and shopping malls in four districts, as well as the resumption of public transportation in 23 other districts.
Meanwhile, private offices in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, and Chengalpattu have been allowed to operate with 100 per cent staffing, and shopping complexes/malls have been permitted to operate between 9 am and 7 pm.
