Hearing was held in the Supreme Court in the matter of section 66A of the IT Act. During the hearing, the Supreme Court has expressed surprise and displeasure over the frequent use of Section 66A of the IT Act. Under this section, the police could arrest people who posted objectionable content online. The court had struck down this section in a landmark judgment in 2015.

IT Act Section 66A के मामले में Supreme Court में सुनवाई हुई . सुनवाई के दौरान सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने IT कानून के Section 66A के लगातार इस्तेमाल पर हैरानी और नाराजगी जताई है. इस सेक्शन के तहत पुलिस objectionable content online पोस्ट करने वाले लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर सकती थी. कोर्ट ने 2015 में एक ऐतिहासिक फैसले में इस सेक्शन को रद्द कर दिया था.
