Prime Minister Narendra Modi will review the situation pertaining to Covid-19 with the chief ministers of all Northeastern states at 11 am on Tuesday. PM Modi will interact with chief ministers of Assam, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram via video conferencing.

This comes against the backdrop of rising R-factor, which indicates the speed at which the infection is spreading in the country, resulting in a sluggish pace in the decline of active cases in northeast states.
