Lifeline support service reports surge in calls since lockdown

Sydney’s prolonged lockdown has seen a surge in the number of people seeking support. People in mandatory isolation in NSW will now be able to access 24-hour mental health support, through a joint state and federal package worth more than 17-million dollars. The Chair of Lifeline John Brogden says it’s not surprising demand for services has skyrocketed.
