After loosing t20 series by 4-1 Australia defeated West Indies by 133 runs in the very first ODI. Starch became the hero of the match by his outstanding bowling and also selected man of the match. Alex Carey appoint as a new captain for the first ODI after the injury of regular captain Aaron Finch and he also played captain's knock by scoring 67 runs. For West Indies, only Pollard manage to score runs rest of all out cheaply. No doubt, after loosing t20 series this is the great start for Australia.
