The border dispute between Assam and Mizoram is gaining momentum, on Monday, violence erupted on the Assam-Mizoram border. These reports of violence came two days after Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting with all the Chief Ministers of the northeastern states in Shillong. It is reported that there has been firing and stone pelting on the border area, Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga has sought help from Union Home Minister Amit Shah by sharing a video of people pelting stones on the border on social media on Monday.
