Ranchi High Court has taken suo motu hearing in the case of the death of a judge in Dhanbad. Taking this matter seriously, the court has summoned a reply from the DGP of Jharkhand and the SSP of Dhanbad. In this case, the Chief Justice's bench told the DGP that if the police fail to investigate, then the matter can go to the CBI. The supposed accident of a judge in Jharkhand’s Dhanbad has taken a chilling turn after CCTV footage from the scene revealed that a tempo driver deliberately ran him over during his morning walk. The DGP has assured the Bench that SIT has been constituted and the police will reach the culprits and bring them to justice.
