West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee reached Delhi on July 26 for a five-day visit to the national capital. This is her first trip to Delhi after the TMC’s victory in the recently concluded Assembly elections. After landing in Delhi she met several Opposition leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Arvind Kejriwal, and many more. It seems Mamata Banerjee is looking to bring all the Opposition parties against BJP at one stage ahead of the 2024 elections. Meanwhile, Mamta Banerjee and Rahul Gandhi are preparing to corner the Modi government on two fronts.
