The border dispute between Assam-Mizoram is on peak these days. It has been five days since this dispute arose but the tension on the Assam-Mizoram border has not cooled down yet. Tension still remains on the border and both states are taking actions to add fuel to the fire. To the extent that Mizoram Police has sued Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, while the Chief Minister Sarma has also said that he is ready for investigation. There is a lockdown-like situation in the Assam area while the goods are being transported to Mizoram under tight security.
