Strict action will now be taken against selling illegal liquor in Madhya Pradesh. Taking a big decision, the Shivraj government of the state said that if someone dies due to illicit liquor in the state, then the accused will be given life imprisonment or death, earlier there was a provision of maximum punishment of 10 years. Apart from this, the amount of fine has been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.

Madhya Pradesh में अब अवैध शराब बेचने पर कड़ी कार्रवाई होगी. सूबे की Shivraj government ने बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए कहा कि राज्य में illegal liquor से यदि किसी की जान जाती है तो आरोपी को आजीवन कारावास या मौत की सजा दी जाएगी, पहले इसके लिए अधिकतम 10 साल की सज़ा का प्रावधान था. इसके अलावा जुर्माने की रकम को 10 लाख रुपये से बढ़ाकर 50 लाख रुपए किए गए हैं।
