Badminton player PV Sindhu, who won bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, this year called the experience “different” and revealed that she missed the presence of spectators at the stadium. “It was challenging thing but the Japanese Government took good care of all the protocols. Definitely, it is a happy moment to celebrate. Of course, this year was a bit different where I missed the spectators. But, a lot of people supported me and showed me their love and blessings. Overall, it was a very different experience because we had to get used to, to the new normal. It was a different kind of experience altogether,” said PV Sindhu. She also talked about the change in technique parts of the game and said, “This time we got enough time to focus on technique and skills because the tournament also got delayed due to the Covid-19. So, we got enough time.” On getting an invite for the Independence Day celebrations, PV Sindhu said that she is looking forward to the opportunity.
