The flood situation was “grim" in north Madhya Pradesh where over 1,200 villages were affected by the deluge following heavy rains and 5,950 people were shifted to safer places with the help of the Army, NDRF, BSF and state agencies, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Wednesday. He said 1,950 people were still stranded in the flood-hit areas and efforts were on to rescue them. Watch video,

Madhya Pradesh में बाढ़ ने भारी तबाही मचा रखी है. बाढ़ से यहां सैंकड़ों गांव डूबे चुके हैं तो कई जिलों के 1200 से ज्यादा गांव Floods से प्रभावित है. बाढ़ का सबसे ज्यादा असर शिवपुरी, दतिया, श्योपुर, भिंड, ग्वालियर, गुना और मुरैना जिले में देखा जा रहा है. खबर है कि इन जिलों में अबतक 5800 लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुंचाया जा चुका है तो वहीं 1500 के करीब अब भी बाढ़ में फंसे हुए हैं.
