The kind of #PinoyPride we love to see!

ALAMAT’s comeback single “Kasmala” depicts the exploitation of Filipinos in the human zoos of the 1900s, and the hardships faced by immigrants who came to the US to work as farmers in the 1920s and ‘30s.

The P-pop group only debuted in February this year. Their members are from diverse ethnicities, and sing and rap in their native languages. Indigenous instruments and clothing also feature heavily in their work.

Taneo, Mo, Tomas, Jao, R-Ji, Valfer, Gami, and Alas share behind-the-scenes stories and give a shoutout to their fans (Magiliw) in this video!
