A day after the government submitted a report on the bedlam witnessed in the Upper House on Wednesday, the Rajya Sabha Chairman and Lok Sabha Speaker met to discuss a course of action going forwards. Sources said Rajya Sabha Chairman Venkaiah Naidu and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla MPs are of the opinion that action should be taken against MPs accused of indulging in unruly behaviour and clashing with the security personnel deputed in Parliament. A decision is likely to be taken in the next few days.
