Today the festival of Nag Panchami is being celebrated, every year the festival of Nag Panchami is celebrated on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of Sawan month, on this date the Nagdevta is worshipped. Mahakaleshwar temple of Ujjain was decorated with colourful lightning on the eve of Nagpanchami. The upper part of the temple opens only once in a year on the day of Nag Panchami. Portals of Nagchandreshwar temple was opened at 12 am last night on Nag Panchami.

आज Nag Panchami का त्योहार मनाया जा रहा है,हर साल सावन मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी तिथि को Nag Panchami का त्योहार मनाया जाता है,इस तिथि पर नागदेवता की पूजा की जाती है। नागपंचमी के अवसर पर उज्जैन के महाकालेश्वर मंदिर (Mahakaleshwar temple) को रंग-बिरंगी लाइटों से सजाया गया। नागपंचमी के अवसर पर महाकाल मंदिर (Mahakal) के शीर्ष पर स्थित नागचंद्रेश्वर (Nagchandreshwar temple) के पट खुलते हैं.
