One more thing is popular behind removing Rakhi by hand that unless this Rakhi comes off on its own or breaks from your hand, it should not be taken off by hand. You can also follow this rule if you want. But if Rakhi is accidentally left before 21 days, then it should be tied again.

हाथ से राखी उतारने के पीछे एक और बात प्रचलित हैं कि जब तक ये राखी आपके हाथ से अपने आप ही ना उतर जाए या टूट ना जाए तब तक इसे हाथ से नहीं उतारना चाहिए. आप चाहे तो इस नियम का भी पालन कर सकते हैं. लेकिन यदि राखी गलती से 21 दिनों के पहले ही छूट जाए तो उसे पुनः बाँध लेना चाहिए.
