On the occasion of Janmashtami, morning ‘aarti’ was offered at Krishna Janmasthan Temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh on August 30. Devotees flocked to the brightly decorated temple to offer morning prayers. Janmashtami is celebrated every year throughout the country to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. Believers observe the day by keeping a fast and praying at the temples.
