Prime Minister Narendra Modi has constituted a high-level group comprising National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, and other senior officials from the security as also Afghanistan division of the Ministry of External Affairs. Sources say the group was formed in view of the “evolving situation in Afghanistan” to focus on “immediate priorities of India”.
