Cryptocurrency exchange OKEx’s CEO Jay Hao said in an interview with Benzinga that despite the credibility given to meme coins by Tesla ($TSLA@US) CEO Elon Musk, currencies such as Dogecoin (DOGE-USD), Baby Doge Coin (BABYDOGE-USD), Shiba Inu (SHIB-USD) and others could be “a passing fad.” Hao did make sure to specify that these coins could have a bright future but issued caution.
