Gagandeep Singh remembers his grandfather fondly. The grandson of a warrior says the first lessons he learnt from his grandfather was that of compassion. He preserves memories of his beloved grandfather who served in the British Indian Army during the tumultous last days of the British empire during and after the second World War. His grandfather was also taken prisoner in the 1960 war with China.
