The day of Rishi Panchami is considered an auspicious festival in Hinduism. On Bhadrapada Shukla Panchami, there is a law of worshiping the Sapta Rishi. This day is considered special for the worship of these seven sages of our mythological sage-Muni Vashishtha, Kashyapa, Vishwamitra, Atri, Jamadagni, Gautam, and Bharadwaj.
