South Australians aged 60 and over are now able to receive the Pfizer vaccine with WA to follow next week. The state's leaders say it will boost uptake in those age groups by reaching those who are hesitant of the AstraZeneca, but there are concerns the move could further undermine the Oxford vaccine.
