China has seen a sudden rise in the covid cases in the Fuian province of the country due to the delta variant. To control the rising numbers of the cases, authorities have imposed lockdown in Xiamen, closing entertainment and fitness venues and cancelled group activities including those for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
