A bill that will move the first elections in the Bangsamoro region to 2025 hurdles the House of Representatives.
187 lawmakers voted in favor of House Bill 10-121.
Last week, the senate also approved a similar measure to extend the transition period in the region.
Women leaders are also getting more support in the region’s political scene.
