लोकमत सखी मंचच्या संस्थापक आणि संगीतसाधक ज्योत्स्ना दर्डा यांच्या स्मृतिनिमित्त लोकमत मीडिया ग्रुपतर्फे २३ मार्च रोजी आयोजित सहाव्या सांगितिक पर्वात श्रेया घोषाल ‘लाईव्ह कॉन्सर्ट’च्या माध्यमातून श्रेयाच्या स्वरमाधुर्याची अनुभूती रसिकांना मिळणार आहे. श्रेया ‘सा.रे.ग.म.प.’मध्ये स्पर्धक म्हणून गायला आली आणि परीक्षक म्हणून उपस्थित असलेल्या संगीतकार कल्याणजी यांनाही तिच्या स्वरांची भुरळ पडली. ती स्पर्धेची विजेती ठरलीच, पण तिचे स्वर स्पर्धेपुरते मर्यादित नव्हतेच. दिग्दर्शक संजय लीला भन्साळी यांनी ‘देवदास’मधून पहिली संधी तिला दिली आणि या मखमली स्वरांनी लोकांवर जादू केली. ‘बैरी पिया..., डोला रे..., मोरे पिया..., सिलसिला ये चाहत का...’ या गीतांची मोहिनी चढली. मग श्रेयाने कधी मागे वळून पाहिलेच नाही. ती कधी हळुवार होती, तर कधी खट्याळ. कधी रोमान्स तर कधी विरह. ‘जादू है नशा है..., अगर तुम मिल जाओ..., छन छन मन गाये क्यों..., सुना सुना लम्हा लम्हा..., शिकदूम..., पिया बोले पिहू बोले..., धीरे जलना..., पल पल हर पल..., होठ रसिले तेरे..., ये ईश्क हाये जन्नत दिखाये..., मेरे ढोलना सुन..., बरसो रे मेघा मेघा..., चिकनी चमेली..., नगाडे संग ढोल बाजे..., तेरी ओर तेरी ओर..., तुझमे रब दिखता है..., मै तैनू समझावा की...’, बाजीराव मस्तानीतील ‘पिंगा ग पोरी पिंगा...’, पद्मावतचे ‘घुमर..’ अशा अनेक गीतांचे स्वरसौंदर्य रसिकांवर बरसले.

Shreya Ghoshal aspired to become a playback singer from an early age. At the age of four, she started learning music. At the age of six, she started her formal training in classical music. At the age of sixteen, she was noticed by film-maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali when she entered and won the television singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Following that, she made her Bollywood playback singing debut with Bhansali's romantic drama Devdas (2002) for which she received a National Film Award, a Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer and a Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent.
