Mahant Narendra Giri Maharaj, president of the Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad was found dead at his residence in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj. The police, however, is suspecting it to be a case of suicide. According to sources, the door was locked from inside and had to be broken. Narendra Giri Maharaj was found hanging from a nylon rope. A suicide note has been recovered by the police which mentions that he was mentally disturbed. The Prayagraj Police has said that the suicide note mentions the names of Anand Giri and other disciples of the seer. It says that he was upset for many reasons and that is why he was ending his life. He wrote that he lived with pride and won't be able to continue living without it. The police have reached the spot and are investigating the case. A special team is being formed for this and a complete investigation will be done with the forensic team.
